 companion Abu Ubaidah Amer bin Al-Jarrah. The family produced a large number of scholars and learned men. He studied in Nablus and graduated in 1945 from Al-Azhar University. He worked as a teacher until 1952, then moved into the Sharia judiciary, starting as a clerk in the Jerusalem Sharia Court in 1953, then as a chief clerk in the Ramallah Court, and later as a judge in Karak in 1958, Irbid in 1960, Tafila in 1962, Aqaba, Qalqilya, Jenin, and Tulkarm until his death in 1983.
