Nasri Khalil Salim Abu Jaish (Abu Khalil; born on April 20, 1967 in Beit Dajan) is a Palestinian dentist, politician, diplomat and lecturer. He holds a PhD in development studies and political science. He is the Minister of Labor in the government of Muhammad Shtayyeh. He is a member of the Palestinian National Council for the Palestinian People's Party.

Childhood and educational attainment
Nasri Khalil Salim Abu Jaish was born in the village of Beit Dajan in the West Bank on April 20, 1967. He received his primary and preparatory education in the village schools, and secondary education at Qadri Toukan School in Nablus. Then he began his university education in Sofia to obtain a bachelor's degree in dentistry, and later he obtained a diploma in protocol from Jakarta. Nasri Abu Jaish completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to obtain a master's degree in international relations, as well as a doctorate in development studies and political science from the universities of Dar es Salaam and Harare.

Nasri Abu Jaish went through diplomatic and political life, as he held the positions of Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Seychelles, Mauritius, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda. On April 13, 2019, Abu Jaish was sworn in before Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as Minister of Labor in Muhammad Shtayyeh's government from the Palestinian People's Party participating in the government.

On July 11, 2021, the Palestinian People’s Party announced the termination of Nasri Abu Jaish’s membership in it, after refusing to implement the party’s decision to leave the government of Muhammad Shtayyeh, against the backdrop of the killing of activist Nizar Banat at the hands of the Palestinian security services on June 24 and the government’s dealing with the ensuing crisis, while Abu Jaish justified His stay in the government by its president Shtayyeh's refusal to resign.
