She is a Palestinian theater and film actress, who has impersonated many characters in many films and plays. She won the Ophir Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in 2016 for her role in "Sandstorm". She won two awards for Best Actress in a theater festival and the other
Her artistic career began in her teens when she was 16 years old. At the age of 28, she married Youssef Asfour, and she is the mother of four.

. She started acting in school plays and then moved to amateur bands and turned professional. She studied at the Beit Zvi Institute of Dramatic Art. She holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Marj Bin Amer College. Her family has been a big supporter of her and encouraged her in her career to achieve her ambition. At the age of 28, Ruba married Youssef Asfour (a history teacher) and had 4 children with him (Ahmed, and triplets: Rabea, Ayham and Sari). After her marriage from Nazareth, she moved to Haifa with her husband, Youssef Asfour, who holds a doctorate in Middle Eastern history. She says: The geographical location did not concern her at all, because she did not work much in Nazareth, and for her husband, he is the biggest supporter and encouragement for her and has a great artistic sense. Actress Ruba is lucky to have always had the roles she always dreamed of.
