1955, Jerusalem. Study archaeology from 1980 to 1984, Ph.D. in Tubingan- Germany, was director of the Islamic museum in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, Professor of Islamic cultural and history at Bir Zeit University. One of the three main Palestinian negotiators of the Geneva Accords and a co-signatory of the agreement; he has also been one of the most visible Palestinian advocates of the accord since its signing. Al-Jubeh was involved in negotiations in Washington following the 1991 Madrid Peace Conference; he has been involved in second-track diplomacy and dialog with Israelis since that time. He returned to the Middle East in 1991 to co-direct a center for the preservation and renewal of Palestinian culture and architecture in Ramallah. "RIWAQ", author of several books and numerous articles on history, archeology and politics. Trustee at the Arab Thought Forum since 2000.
