Hussein Ahmed Abu Ajwa is a member of the political leadership of the Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas. He was born in February 1, 1962. Abu Ajwa lives in Gaza.
Hussein holds a Bachelor from the Islamic University of Medina and a Masters in Islamic law from the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom in Cairo and a PhD. in Comparative Jurisprudence from the University of Ain Shams in Cairo.
Hussein was assassinated in the month of July 5, 2006 AD at the hands of customers in Palestine.

He is an assistant professor in the Jurisprudence and its Principles in Islamic Studies Department at the University of Al-Aqsa in Gaza. Also served as Chairman of the Fatwa Committee at the University of Al-Aqsa in Gaza was and a member of the Council of Scientific Research at the University of Al-Aqsa.
He is a lecturer of jurisprudence and Islamic Institute in Dar Al-Hadith in Khan Younis since between 1995 and 2000 worked as an orator in the Ministry of Religious Affairs since 1997.
