A Palestinian academic and researcher, she was born in Damascus; resides in Paris. Rabaa obtained a Diploma in the Modern Arabic Literature from the Universite Saint-Joseph in Beirut 1999; MA in English language and Literature from the University of Lyon 2 in Paris 2003; PhD in Arabic Literary Criticism from the Sorbonne University in Paris 2012.
