Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ragaa Al-Derini was born in the town of Abbasiya near Jaffa in 1930 AD, and obtained a doctorate in English literature from Ain Shams University - Cairo, in 1977 AD, and had obtained a master’s degree in English literature from the University of Kentucky in the United States of America in 1960.
