Thaera Aqrabawi is a Jordanian writer and novelist, born in Kuwait to Palestinian parents who fled after the setback to Jordan and then Kuwait, and finally settled in Jordan since 1990. She studied English literature and won the Katara Prize for Arabic Fiction in 2018 in the category of unpublished novels for her novel “Hajar.” - Palestine, Kuwait, and After », which was subsequently printed and translated into English, and the novel dives into the experience of Palestinian alienation and the forced exodus of Palestinians after the 1967 setback.
