A Palestinian poet and sculpture, he was born in the refugee camp of Askar in the city of Nablus 1954; obtained his BA in English language and Education from the University of Jordan, worked as a teacher for 14 years in Nablus and the UNRWA in Ramallah. Radi was arrested five times by the Israeli occupation authorities, he spent three years and a half in prison.
His poetry was published in (Al-Fajr) and (Al-Sha'b) newspapers, participated in the Palestine Festival of Literature in Jerusalem. In 1992, he began his career as a sculpture; participated for the first time in a group exhibit in Jerusalem 1993.
