- Brief about his book (The History of Literature for the Franks, the Arabs, and Victor Hoco) This author is considered one of the first Arabic books that focused on comparative literature, through which Rawhi Al-Khalidi sought to search for consensus among other nations, and believes that literature cannot be specific to a nation. Rather, it is an interaction through which each people benefits from what others have produced, through translation or coexistence, as happened to the Arab nation after the Islamic conquests expanded and a number of European countries such as Spain and Portugal came under its influence, and the famous French poet Victor Huco was taken as a model to evaluate a study About a number of his literary works, and compares them with what was produced by the great Arab poets such as Abu Al-Ala Al-Maarri, Al-Mutanabbi and others.
