About the author
Marwan Nazih Makhoul, a Palestinian poet, was born on July 2, 1979, in the town of Al-Buqai'a in the Upper Galilee, Palestine, to a Palestinian father and a Lebanese mother. He currently resides in Ma'alot-Tarshiha. His poems include "An Arab at Ben Gurion Airport," published in early 2012 and translated into Hebrew, and "Evening Poem." Several of his poems have been translated into English, French, and Hebrew, including "On the Tel Aviv Train," "Hello Beit Hanoun," and "A Picture of the People of Gaza."
