About the author

A Palestinian writer, born in Cairo in 1956.
He received his higher education at Ain Shams University in Egypt
, graduating with a law degree in 1980 and a postgraduate diploma in criminal law in 1982.
He was awarded the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences Prize for Best Book in the Arts, Literature, and Humanities in Arabic for his book "A History of Islamic Arts" in 2003.
His book "The Arts and History of Muslims in Andalusia" was published in 2011.
He practiced law from 1980 to 1981 and participated in numerous seminars and conferences on civil service law and intellectual property rights.
He worked as a legal researcher at the Ministry of State for Cabinet Affairs in the United Arab Emirates, and later as a researcher and legal advisor at the Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi from 1991 to 2006. He currently works as a legal advisor at the Abu Dhabi Electronic Village.
He has delivered numerous lectures on Islamic arts in Spain, Denmark, Jordan, and Tunisia.
He published a book titled "On the Realities of Existence" with the Cultural Center in 2000.

He also has several articles and studies published in the newspapers "Al-Hayat," "Al-Fajr," and "Al-Ittihad," as well as in the journals "Social Affairs" and "Al-Quds Al-Arabi" (London).
